Digital Media and Composition Institute

For six summers (2008-2013) I taught at The Ohio State University’s Institute on Digital Media and Composition, first as a Digital Media Specialist and then as a Senior Instructor. For two weeks each summer, I worked with university and college faculty and graduate students from all over the United States. The Institute focused primarily on helping professors and scholars to incorporate digital media tools and concepts into their own classrooms and scholarly publications. The Institute faculty ranged from four to six instructors who offered presentations on specific digital tools and new media publication practices. The video below was produced after I left the institute, but it gives a good sense for what DMAC is all about.
